After reaching compromise with his parents, who insisted that Dale pursue a career in comedy despite him dreaming of becoming an accountant Dale entered the Comedy circuit in September 2007…. Just once and then again like 6 months later.

Dale has performed at clubs and events around the country and although the audiences are extremely varied their responses are the same . . .Laughter!

Not restricted to a single genre, Dale’s material has clear elements of dry, impersonation, observational and dark. Dale enjoys performing abroad and so visited London mainly because the clothes are nicer there and also to do comedy, on his return it was evident that London and Londoners alike had touched him!

Dale was the 2010 male BP fugitive for 94.7 Highveld, where he gave Highveld listeners the run around and kept presenters on their toes. Dale performed his first one-man show You sit, I’ll stand at the 2011 National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, the show was well received by audiences and critics alike.
